Hedwig Brouckaert

Belgian-American artist Hedwig Brouckaert, based in Queens NY, obtained an MFA from UC Davis (CA). She received grants from the Belgian Government, the Rockefeller Foundation – Bellagio, Cité Internationale des Arts Paris, Hafnarborg Museum Iceland and Yaddo among others. She presented her work at the Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens in Belgium, at VOLTA NY in 2014 & ’18, the Bangkok Art and Culture Center in Thailand, and the Palazzo Vendramin Costa in Venice Italy. She was selected for the 2020 New York Foundation for the Arts Artists Immigrant Program. Her work was featured in the NYT and the Brooklyn Rail.
